Our group currently has a vacancy for a Research Associate (m/f/d) for a BMFTR project expected to be full-time, pay scale E 13 TV-L HU (third-party funded, fixed-term until September 30, 2029) under reference number DR/166/26.
Your responsibilities:
- Providing research services in the field of software engineering for the BMFTR research project "Multi-level AI-Enabled Systems-of-Systems" (MAISS)
- Contributing to scientific research, particularly in the areas of machine learning, automated software engineering, integration analysis, and debugging for AI components
- Opportunity for further academic qualification (doctoral studies)
What you bring to the role:
- completed university degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning (ideally with excellent academic results)
- Extensive experience in the fields of Machine Learning, Automated Software Engineering, Automated Testing, Integration Testing, and Automated Debugging
- Strong programming skills and experience with Git, PyTorch, CUDA, and MLflow
- Proficiency in German (spoken and written, at least C1 level)
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written, at least C1 level)
