Sven Hager

 

Scientific Education

I studied Computer Science at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf from 2007, where I received the bachelor's and master's degrees in 2011 and 2012, respectively. During my studies, I focussed on the implementation of efficient virtual machines for dynamic languages using the RPython toolchain. Since February 2013, I am a member of the Computer Engineering Group at the Humboldt University of Berlin.

 

Research

My research focusses on the implementation of efficient software/hardware-based packet classification systems. Furthermore, I am interested in the semantics and optimization of firewall rule sets.
