Understanding emerges by doing. Applied to studies of cognitive processes, this implies modeling of intelligent behavior for machines. Thus, Artificial Intelligence can be understood as
- Modeling for better understanding of intelligence,
- Engineering of useful machines,
- Cooperation of humans, computers, and robots.
All in all: Soccer is much more interesting than chess to learn more about human intelligence.
